What does Mesa mean?

Tell your story through a charcuterie. “Mesa” in Tagalog and Spanish means “table” - Set The Mesa pays tribute to my heritage and also stands for the service I want to provide - I set the “mesa” (table) and all you need to do is show up. Give me a call and through a consultation we will build ideas together - I make it easy to match your event, deliver the perfect charcuterie, or host a class with all the supplies you need. It’s really that easy.

In Filipino culture, it is normal gathering around food. Every party, hang out, or event turned into a huge potluck - and I love that. I believe that the best conversations and moments happen around food and I want to create that for people. The table set ups I do are inspired by the Filipino Kamayans I had growing up and the charcuteries are inspired by my family that are in Spain. My love for family, food, and friendship inspires me daily to find delicious food and curate it on a beautiful dish for you.

I also believe it is important to support locally as it benefits not only the native to that area but also helps with so much more in our environment. I’m so glad that when I traveled, I not only got to experience such delicious food, but food that is loved and important to that country. It is my wish to support local businesses and farms as well as source my products from them.
